Since founding Vision Scapes in 1999, Mark has been the heart and soul of the company. Mark's favorite part of his chosen career is witnessing the growth of his employees, helping them achieve more than they ever imagined. He finds immense satisfaction in nurturing talent and watching individuals surpass their own expectations. Mark thrives on transforming chaos into order, turning clients' properties into beautiful, welcoming spaces. He loves providing a service that not only enhances the curb appeal of homes but also gives clients their time back, allowing them to enjoy their outdoor spaces without the burden of upkeep.  Mark is passionate about the work at Vision Scapes because it allows him to see the tangible results of hard work and dedication. He finds gratification in completing a job and knowing that the client is thrilled with the outcome. Providing a valued service that enhances people's lives and their environments gives him a sense of accomplishment. He enjoys the challenge of organizing and executing complex projects, turning visions into reality. Outside of work, Mark is a hobby homesteader who enjoys gardening and taking care of his chickens. He treasures spending time with his wife, Cris, who has been his partner in running the business since its inception. Together, they have nurtured Vision Scapes and Lawnganics into successful ventures, built on a foundation of hard work, dedication, and a shared vision. Mark and Cris have four wonderful children: Vivian, Sullivan, William, and Henry. His dog, Bear, is his best friend, and one of Vision Scapes favorite employees! A fun fact about Mark, is that he also breeds Belgian horses, which is yet another thing he pours his heart into. Mark is deeply committed to giving back to the community, supporting charities like Humane Fort Wayne and organizations dedicated to pets and families. Born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Mark left for a few years but eventually returned, drawn back by the hometown magnet. His continuous pursuit of learning and self-awareness fuels his passion for helping others grow. His faith and family are the cornerstones of his life, guiding his personal and professional endeavors.
